Coggeshall Farm Museum in Bristol, Rhode Island and The Freeman Farm at Old Sturbridge Village were magically transformed into Fairy Tale Farm, July and August of 2021. Guests were transported into an enchanted countryside where they met characters from several beloved fairy tales, all living beside each other on a farm full of surprises.
Each character stepped out of their home for the first time in a while; from “real-boy” Pinocchio, to a recently-awakened beautiful princess-turned-influencer, to Little Red Riding Hood’s once-devoured grandmother, to an entrepreneurial Goldilocks and her fiancé Baby Bear, to a quarantine-frustrated Hansel and Gretel, to a self-aware third Little Pig. Map in hand, guests had the freedom to explore as the sun went down on this enchanted farm. Hilarity ensued as characters we thought we’ve known since childhood finally decide to get real.
